C.O.R. is all about community. C.O.R. responsibilities include bringing people together in a particular area by understanding their shared interests and facilitating community connections. We have identified some “communities” where people use their special skills and talents to help people in different ways.
C.O.R. highlights community successes and praises that community. In addition, we acknowledge individuals within that community who push the limits and go above and beyond what they already do.
Education Community
Individuals within the education community help people of various ages learn new concepts or master new skills. They offer one of the most direct ways to make an impact on people's lives.
This community includes but is not limited to the following:
Teachers
School counselors
Teacher assistants (TA)
Early childhood educators
Education administrators
Emergency Responders Community
Individuals within the Emergency Responder community are people who save lives for a living. Their job is to keep people safe, help them when they are injured, and/or in crisis.
This community includes but is not limited to the following:
Police officer
Firefighters
Paramedics
911 dispatchers
Emergency management coordinators
Spiritual Community
The spiritual community is made up of any religious denomination. They perform meaningful work within their community and touch many lives.

Clergy person
Directors of religious activities and education
Military Community
The military protects its country by defending them from the armed forces of enemies in the event of war. They risk their lives to protect our lives.

The healthcare community helps save lives and works with people to help them lead and maintain healthier lives.
